Acedia,
Precursor to sloth
God the fire
Man the moth
Aching limbs, sickness present
We don’t fly around the fire anymore
Acedia,
Precursor to despair
Ancient psychological state
Herald to man’s fate
Tedium and suicide
We have to fly around the fire forever more

I enjoyed this very much, especially the line” Herald to man’s fate”. Like the omen, messenger or fate. Made me think! Thank you! Cheers, David

Such a warning rapped in a way that parallels our lives. Sometimes I feel like we are all moths attracted to the light too. The way we all just seem to go with the social flow regardless of what way it goes. We seem to always find justification. I think that this reminder is perfect. Great Job man!
